- Information you submit through our forms: full name, company name, USDOT number, phone, and email.
- Public FMCSA data tied to your USDOT number (carrier safety records, fleet details, insurance filings).
- Usage data: pages visited, basic analytics through Vercel and Google Analytics.
How we use your information
- To provide the services you requested (insurance placement through Carrier Vault, free safety reviews through Fleet Advocate).
- To contact you via phone, email, and SMS about your request and related insurance options.
- To submit your information to commercial trucking insurance carriers/MGAs on your behalf when you ask us to place coverage.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
How we share your information
We share your information only with insurance carriers, MGAs, and wholesalers when you have asked us to place coverage on your behalf as your broker of record. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Mobile information and SMS sharing policy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories under the consent to receive SMS messages from Summit Outreach, Carrier Vault, and Fleet Advocate—including your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, and SMS consent records—are excluded from sharing with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional reasons. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted strictly to deliver the services you requested. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.
SMS / text message communications
By providing your phone number and submitting a form, you consent to receive SMS messages from Summit Outreach, Carrier Vault, and Fleet Advocate regarding your insurance quote requests, free safety reviews, renewal reminders, and related insurance and safety inquiries. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies, typically 1–6 messages per month per active request. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at dispatch@thecarriervault.com.
